Whether you attend for a single week or all 9 weeks summer this camp includes a variety of activities for anyone aged 5-12. This Summer Camp will be hosted by 2x Olympic Medalist and Former World Record Holder Nick Thoman. This Camp will be located at the clubhouse and is only open to Saguaro Bloom residents. Each day will start out with an outdoor morning activity, followed by some mid day crafts and games, ending with an afternoon out at the pool for some fun in the sun. Daily activities will include things like corn hole, bocce ball, board games, crafts, splash pad, puzzles, music, scavenger hunts, friendship brackets, chalk, science experiments, gardening, water balloon fights, parks, kite flying, four square, swimming, and more!
Each week has a limit of 40 Campers due to space restrictions and safety priorities. The ratio of Camp Counselors to Children will be 10 to 1 for this Summer Camp. It is required for every Camper to provide their own water bottle, sunscreen, swim suit, towel, snack, and lunch. If your Camper has any allergies, is unable to swim (it is not required to know how to swim to attend this camp), or has medical needs please include that information within the comment section of the check out form. Nick Thoman and/or the additional Camp Counselors will be First Aid, AED, CPR, and/ or Lifeguard certified.
If you’re interested in being a camp counselor please use the Contact Page of this website to connect on current opportunities. This would be a 9 week commitment from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday every week of June through July, excluding the Fourth of July.
This year, for every 25% of total slots sold Nick Thoman will be sponsoring a Community Event for everyone to attend at no cost to the Association or Residents for Saguaro Bloom. The pricing for this camp has been curated so that there will be no additional costs to the Association for running the Summer Camp on the property. The timing for the Summer Camp has been expanded both on a daily and weekly basis based of the feedback the Association received last year. This means that each day is an hour longer, and the camp will run for an additional two weeks during the summer.
12 Golden Eggs with a coupons to save on a full Summer of Camp will be hidden at the Spring Festival.
Below is the full break down on what each day will entail for your Camper. Should weather not permit any of these activities alternative options will be provided.
